On the evening of Thursday, October 21, 2011, Claire and I drove down to the accident site to put a red rose up for Tommy. As we were leaving, a red tail hawk flew right in front of my windshield. The strange thing is that he was looking straight at us. He came back around a second time and looked at us again! He then flew up and landed on a telephone line, slowly spread his wings wide and gazed upon us. Instantly, I knew in my heart that he is ok and at peace and this was his way to let me know that I can also be at peace.
